Clients who have trusted HØUSITEK

  • We booked the inspection before signing the deposit contract and it was the best decision. They found hidden damp and several electrical points that were not up to code. With the report we were able to renegotiate and avoid a surprise refurbishment.

    Laura P.

We answer your questions

What is HØUSITEK?

HØUSITEK is an independent technical home inspection service. We analyse the real condition of the property before you buy, so that you do not put a lifetime of savings at risk. We do not sell homes. We are not intermediaries. We defend your interests.

What is checked in a home inspection?

It depends on the level booked, but during the basic inspection, for example, we check more than 225 points of the property. We can review:

  • Construction condition and visible pathologies
  • Structure, envelope and damp
  • Building services (electrics, plumbing, gas)
  • Planning compliance and permits
  • Future risks and hidden costs
  • Available technical documentation
Who is HØUSITEK designed for?
  • Buyers of a main residence
  • Property investors
  • Purchases with technical or legal doubts
  • Older, refurbished or unusual properties

If you are about to make one of the most important investments of your life, you should not do it blind.

Does the owner have to be informed about the inspection?

Yes. The owner must be aware that an inspection is going to take place at the property, as well as the estimated duration of the visit, in order to provide access. Once the booking is confirmed, HØUSITEK handles the coordination, contacting the owner to:

  • Inform them that the inspection will take place
  • Identify the surveyor who will carry out the visit
  • Confirm the date and time

This way the process is managed in an orderly, transparent and unobtrusive manner, ensuring the inspection runs correctly.
